Archery Backpack Elk Hunt Film (We got SO CLOSE)

September of 2023, I got to go back to one of my favorite places in the world to hunt, the high country in Colorado. I tagged along with Josh Greer, Matt Baerren, and Chad Hazen for 5 days and 4 nights on a backpack elk hunt in the same area Chad, Matt and I hunted the year prior when Chad got his first archery bull. We had a fun and eventful couple days of scouting and hunting with some close calls but we weren't able to get close enough to get a clean shot at a bull. Tag filled or not, this hunt was nothing short of amazing, peaceful, full of good times and laughs; what it's truly all about along with cherishing the opportunity to experience some of God's creation and land that not many people ever see or experience.
