UP CLOSE in the WIDE OPEN?! SOLO Archery Pronghorn SUCCESS with a DECOY

Описание к видео UP CLOSE in the WIDE OPEN?! SOLO Archery Pronghorn SUCCESS with a DECOY

I decided to apply for a pronghorn tag for archery since I had some points built up, drew the tag and got the opportunity to hunt them for the first time. Going into what I thought would be an easy hunt considering how many were around, this hunt quickly turned into the biggest eye opening hunt I've ever been on. I didn't know anything about pronghorn going in, and never knew their eyesight was good as it is. I quickly realized they can see way better than I thought they could and knew it was going to be a lot harder than I thought. I was up for the challenge and was all in on spot and stalk or decoying one instead of sitting over water. After 2 straight weeks of all day, non stop action, I left this hunt and went to film a couple elk hunts. I got one day to head back to where I could hunt after a break from the pronghorn, and it all came together after an early morning with a couple hour drive and a few failed stalks. Holding up the decoy to a lone buck in the distance is all it took to change a long season from having an unfilled tag to one of the most rewarding hunts of my life with my tag filled. Wyatt Morse flew out and tagged along for a few days and filmed which I greatly appreciate, we had a blast of a few days. Putting these videos together reminds me of why I do my best to document every single hunt I go on. There's not a better way to relive a hunt than to sit down and create a full length video full of footage from 2 weeks worth of hunting into under an hour. All glory to God as always! His creation never fails to amaze me! I appreciate y'all watching and hope y'all enjoyed! God bless y'all!
