This video outlines the troubleshooting steps that I took to diagnose the power seat control on my 1998 Chevy Blazer. The process outlined in this video will be the same or very similar to many other General Motors (GMC) and Chevy vehicles including S10 Pickup, Silverado, Trailblazer, Sierra, and just about any other GM car or truck that has power seats that will not move forward of the back. My issue ended up being an electric motor problem, but I'm hoping that the process of testing power to and from the switch will help others who are trying to figure out why their power seat will not move forward or back.
