Jacqueline Kennedy waits with her brother-in-law Attorney General Robert F. Kennedy in his office in the Justice Department, in order to make her first public statement since the late President's assassination. She said she has received nearly 800,000 letters of condolence and that all of them would be placed in the President Kennedy Memorial Library at Charles River, Massachusetts.
