Research at the Center for Digital Transformation: Data-driven Decision Making

How can companies and organizations make decisions based on actual data rather than intuition? At the Center for Digital Transformation of the TUM School of Management at the TUM Campus Heilbronn, researchers apply big data analytics, machine learning and optimization to support decision making in health care, finance, marketing, and supply chain management. They also refine the methods for specific applications and develop new algorithms and methods which can deal with the uncertainty usually present in data.
