Our drive video route starting from Lalbhag, south of MCC bldg and ended at Shree Venkatramana Temple Square, Car Street. At Alake, it is really sad that 100 yr old Chitra Talkies was closed since 2017, due to non compliance of latest digital technology like the Multiplex Cinemas. Cost is huge.. One more theatre called Balaji Theatre, 50 mtrs from this talkies had been also closed much earlier!!
It is a great loss for the cinema lovers of Mangalore.
Famous temple, Shree Gokarnanatheshwara at Kudroli is a tourist spot where even foreigners also visit here. Venkatramana temple at Carstreet is also very famous particularity with the GSB community devotees.
