Conditionals in English can be hard for some ESL students so watch my other videos on the first conditional and the second conditional, and then you can create 3rd conditional sentences in English like a pro.

Sentences used in the video:
If we had left sooner, we would have arrived on time.
If I had studied French in school, I would have moved to Paris.
If I had traveled more, I would have learned more languages.
If I had known it was your birthday, I would have bought you a present.
If I'd studied harder, I could've been a doctor.
You wouldn't have twisted your ankle if you hadn't run in high heels.
If she had asked for help, they might have helped her.
If you had attended the meeting, you would have met our manager today.
Had you attended the meeting, you would've met our new manager today.
Had you completed your assignment on time, you would have received a better grade.
