40 minute kundalini yoga for the throat chakra | Yogigems

The Neck Series brings us some wonderful kundalini yoga for the throat chakra. This lovely kriya has a myriad of healing benefits for the vishuddha - or throat chakra. As well as balancing and healing the throat chakra, it also balances the thyroid and releases tension from the neck and shoulders.

The throat chakra is a centre that many of us have issues with - this chakra is all about voicing our needs and expressing our truth, no matter what the consequences! This 40 minute kundalini yoga kriya for the throat chakra teaches us the essence of Sat Nam - truth is what I am.

There is some powerful detoxification in this kundalini yoga kriya. If you feel nauseous, please settle back into stillness with a long, slow, deep breath. Drink plenty of water to help the detox process.

As with all kundalini yoga kriyas, please be careful with your body - especially your neck - in this kriya. Keep yourself safe from injury. If you feel dizzy, just take a moment or two out. Remember to drink plenty of water during and after your practice.
