~2 years learning Spanish (speaking progress timelapse) | progress is not linear

Here's a video of my Spanish learning journey so far (1 year 9 months & counting!) and some reflections I’ve had about the process.

Sorry that for the timelapse I only have clips of me speaking from 1 year 4 months till now :( It didn’t occur to me to film myself speaking when I first started out, but I still wanted to share what I do have.

There’s no quick fix to language learning, there’s no “getting fluent in 30 days” or even 3-6 months (in my opinion!!), but the long journey is worth it :)

My fellow language learners, hope this video inspires you to keep on going :) just like how videos of other people’s journeys have inspired me in the past. If you’re a Spanish speaker, feel free to correct my mistakes, I’m always looking to learn from them! Oh, and comment 🌮 if you read till here hehe (thank you for reading x)
