This composition was inspired by the classic 1970’s computer text adventure game “Colossal Cave”. We take a musical journey within the cave and its surroundings, including the many characters, objects, ‘magic’ (including XYZZY) and of course the famous “Maze of twisty little passages” which is represented by a free-time ‘chance music’ section. A fantastic concert selection with the usual Hosenbugler 'hints of jazz'.
