In this video, we'll provide you with all the tips and tricks you need to know to strengthen your back muscles, prevent those nagging pains, and how to grow the widest back possible🔥

As a viewer, you might be wondering why it's important to have a strong back. Well, the back is made up of 20 different muscles, but only seven of them are usually targeted in training. These muscles perform four primary functions, including shoulder extension, shoulder abduction, scapular retraction, and spinal extension. By targeting these muscles through specific exercises, you can develop a strong and wide back that will help you avoid aches and pains as you age.

So, what are the best exercises to target the different muscles in your back? The upper back includes the rhomboids, traps, and rear delts, and is best targeted with movements that emphasize scapular retraction, such as dumbbell rows and seated cable rows. Flared elbow rows can also be used to target the upper back more effectively. The middle back consists of the lats and teres major, which are trained in almost every back exercise. Finally, the lower back consists primarily of the spinal erectors and is best targeted with exercises that involve flexion and extension of the spine.
