Note- I typically run a compressor pedal (Cali76 Compact Bass) first in my signal chain prior to the HX Stomp, so I usually omit a compressor block in my presets, unless it’s one I build for recording direct from the HX Stomp (as opposed to going direct to my bass amp/cab).

Also as I use my HX Stomp on my pedal board and mainly play it through an amp/cab, I try to set the volume of the signal coming out of the HX Stomp at a similar level to what I put into it for each preset so that I don’t massively increase the gain going to my amp. If you require more gain simply increase the volume of the output of the presets and re-save them.
