Day 68: The Power of Micro-Goals (90-Day Novel Challenge)

Описание к видео Day 68: The Power of Micro-Goals (90-Day Novel Challenge)

Sometimes tiny goals have more power than big ones.

On those days when the blank page is just overwhelming, don't think about writing 1,000 words. Instead, what's the smallest goal you could set for yourself?

Separating large tasks into micro-goals is an excellent way to overcome feelings of overwhelm and generate momentum with your work. This strategy can be effective whether you're building a spaceship or writing a book manuscript.

ASSIGNMENT: Write for one hour. You might break up your goals like this:

Put one word on the page.

Write one sentence.

Write one paragraph.

Write until you've reached 100 words.

Write 200 words.

Write 500 words.

Write 1,000 words.
