There are two rhythm tracks plus the solo overdubs in "Lady Writer" so we do our best to combine all the essential bits in one easy lesson. The intro uses some soulful bending and country licks in C#m scale that flows into the A, B, C# chord progression on the verse. A close listen to the pattern during the verse reveals alternative between two different licks during C#m, one simple a lift off to B and the other a hammer on/ pulloff style between the two chords. Another key chord that many seem to omit when with a single guitar is the Am6 chord as the chorus wraps up, a key element in recreating the mood of this tune.
