Although placed in a distant period of time, the super-state Romney Wordsworth lives among has resonance that extends into the real world. And, in the midst of those in authority identifying him as “The Obsolete Man” to be executed, his boldness and trueness to self exceeds the vindication he could find from any mortal man. Because, it’s God whom he holds hope in during his final hours in The Twilight Zone.
