The Obsolete Man - August In The Twilight Zone | Alex Carson

Описание к видео The Obsolete Man - August In The Twilight Zone | Alex Carson

Although placed in a distant period of time, the super-state Romney Wordsworth lives among has resonance that extends into the real world. And, in the midst of those in authority identifying him as “The Obsolete Man” to be executed, his boldness and trueness to self exceeds the vindication he could find from any mortal man. Because, it’s God whom he holds hope in during his final hours in The Twilight Zone.

All through August of 2020, I'll be sharing my 30 favorite episodes, in no particular order, as part of my series, "August In The Twilight Zone". I'll be covering their synopses & twists, some background around the episodes themselves, and my own thoughts. Today, we're looking at who "The Obsolete Man" is and how his background in faith helped him find confidence in the last hours of his life (Season 2, Episode 29).
