Ian Cross from Swimming Without Stress works with Alice, a physiotherapist, on breathing and learning to let the water support her. In 4 lessons her breaststroke changes from a rushed and strenuous stroke - because of some fear about the breathing- to a series of relaxed glides. The key thing we worked on, once she was used to breathing out into the water, was the skill of giving the weight of the head to the water, really enjoying its support.
