A graduate of Ohio University, home of the Cornelius Ryan Archives, Kevin Getz has degree in journalism. He has been employed with the Indiana State Police for nearly 30 years to include duty assignments as a Road Trooper, General Assignment Detective, and Internet Crimes Against Children Detective. He started his re-enacting career in the late 1990s with an interest in British Airborne. That developed into a focused interest and research of the Glider Pilot Regiment and the men who were “Total Soldiers.”

In today's show, Kevin will compare the Horsa to the DFS-230 and Hadrian, discuss its production and flight testing, operations, and its depiction in popular culture.
