DESCRIPCIÓN
Gandalf era un Maia creado por Eru Ilúvatar que vivía en Lórien y visitaba a Nienna. Era el más sabio de los Maiar y fue enviado por Manwë a la Tierra Media para hacer frente a Sauron. Los Istari junto a Elrond, Galadriel y Círdan formaron el Concilio Blanco y combatieron al Nigromante. Ayudó a los Hobbits, organizó la búsqueda de Erebor y atacó Dol Guldur, Smaug murió y Sauron fue expulsado. Se hizo amigo de Aragorn, descubrió que el Anillo Único había sido encontrado, interrogó a Gollum, fue capturado por Saruman y liberado por Gwaihir, domó a Sombragrís, luchó contra los Nazgûl, guió a Frodo hasta Moria, se enfrentó a un Balrog y murió. Eru le devolvió a la vida, curó a Théoden, salvó Rohan y Gondor y regresó a Aman.
