Let's cap of Sakuya with some good ol' - and in this case really kinda old - Akatsuki Records. Bloody Devotion dropped a few years already and it's a real bop as far as I'm concerned. The shredding is there, Stack's voice is as iconic as it's always been and it's honestly a really interesting throwback to see how Akatsuki Records' style has evolved.
If we compare more modern metal or rock they do such as SARIEL or KONNGARAGIRL, this here feels more experimental but also has more of weird slight gothic or symphonic metal to it with the choir and the synthetic organ abounding.
I don't really know how to put it, but there's something really infectious about the whole track's... clean and crisp sound. Like it feels synthetic and pristine but organic at the same time? I'm pretty sure that's cause of Stack's voice. I know her voice is hit or miss, but it ties Bloody Devotion together really well, no?
I honestly amd at a loss for words; I'm admittedly pretty tired but I didn't wanna leave you guys hanging, so I'm rather taciturn totday - long day at work, the gym and just householding.
Hope you'll forgive me. But be that as it may, it was really fun to revisit one of my oldest favourites and I'm really curious what I can find for the next character. Again, let me know your guesses as to who it might be! :D
