This Baked Maandazi recipe was shared by my sister Laila Hussein from Muscat. It is soft and guilt free from fried ones. They taste very good. Try them out, perfect for that sugar craving with Chai. Good way to break fast with in Ramadhan. I also baked some in my Ninja Foodi Grill.

INGREDIENTS:
3 cups All Purpose flour
1 Cup warm water or milk (I used water)
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup milk powder
1/2 tsp cardamom powder
1/4 cup oil
1/4 cup butter
1 tsp baking powder
2 Egg yolks
2 tsps yeast
1 tsp plain flour
1/2 cup warm water
1 tsp sugar
