"Slaughter on 10th Ave" SIDE BY SIDE Concert & Movie.

I synced the Vintage 1948 MGM Technicolor film with the 2012 John Wilson re-creation of 1954's Broadway revival arrangement.

John Wilson conducts the Don Walker orchestration from the 1954 Broadway Show revival of "On You Toes." (Note, This is a longer arrangement than the 1948 film version.)

The Vintage Film is from the 1948 MGM movie, "Words and Music." The Dancers are Gene Kelly and Vera-Ellen.

The John Wilson Orchestra is made up of handpicked virtuosos. The 56 musicians are the best of the best. Also performing is the renown 36 member chorus: The Maida Vale Singers.

1. "On Your Toes" opened on Broadway in 1936. (Rodgers and Heart)
2. "On Your Toes" was made into a movie by Warner Bros. in 1939.*
