NAS Blended Malt from family owned company Douglas Laing &Co
Independent bottlers since 1948
This blended Malt consists of only Lowland single malts
Got its name from a well loved energetic 1930’s man in Glasgow

THIS WHISKY
Matured in oak casks
ABV 46.2%
Non Chill filtered – Natural colour


COLOUR
White wine
NOSE
buttery vanilla, barley, citrus peel, floral, grassy, madeira cake, cinnamon
DROP IN THE PALM – marmalade on toast
TASTE
Sweet, vanilla, burnt citrus peel, honey, grassy, candy, cereal, pepper, youthful, energetic
FINISH
Bitter-sweet grapefruit, herby, nutty, hay
EMPTY GLASS - Sponge cake dough


WITH WATER:
Nose: grassy, alcohol, citrus, cereal
Taste: smoother but not better, warm peppery finish
COMMENT: not an impressive expression from Douglas Laing – improves with a few minutes rest in the glass
