*Strip Mall Burns Again Three Years Later* - LAFD & LACoFD Pizza Shop Fire (Beverly Grove)

Los Angeles Fire Department was dispatched to the 800 block of north La Cienega Boulevard for a reported structure fire. First arriving units found a two story strip mall with smoke showing from two units on the first floor. Firefighters went into an offensive posture to attack the blaze. Firefighters from LAFD as well LACoFD that was assisting as automatic aid worked to knock down and confine the fire to a single unit that was operating as a pizza restaurant. One smoke related injury to a civilian was reported. The cause is under investigation.
