Emergency is in place with Hornsby Travel. A driver whilst worked on service 35 Scunthorpe to Amcotts has been reported as taken ill and not fit to drive. The passengers are worried about the service being cancelled as there is only 3 services to Amcotts a day.

Luck is on their side and the drivers as the supervisor is in change of driving empty to Amcotts. But, due to safety issues with the replacement bus, a Volvo B9R Caetano Levante is the only one available. As the driver and its bus is taken back to Hornsby Depot in Ashby, we are giving the honor of taken what is a very rare sight of a Volvo B9R Caetano Levante to work on service 35 back to Scunthorpe.

In comfort and style for the passengers for the day on 35 as the Volvo B9R is put through its paces. Passenger comfort with very comfortable leather seating on board and even Free WIFI.

This Volvo B9R Caetano Levante has been bought from National Express which has been bought. Hornsby Travel has said its main purpose will be for use on school services and rail replacement services. Rarely used for passenger services but this was an emergency use.
