Following on with the bigger and better changes made for Scunthorpe 2020 map and also with changes to the fleet by Hornsby Travel & Stagecoach.

Not only with Stagecoach Simplibus plan is in operation alongside with is partner operator Hornsby Travel but the Lincolnshire County Council has also made some changes in terms of routes, services and timing of each buses. Some Scunthorpe town services are seeing double the frequency of services running and some of the rural routes are now seeing daily bus services.

The biggest talking point was the less used route 11 which runs between Scunthorpe and Yaddlethorpe. What was an hourly services has now been cut back to just 2 early morning peak services. With a new route via Ashby for a direct run to Scunthorpe.

This morning, we will be driving the final service of the day before the bus is allocated onto other duties. Luckily, we find ourselves with a Volvo B7TL ALX400 for the mornings duties.
