📌ingredients:
100g starch
150g coconut powder
250g brown sugar
1 cup of rose water
100g butter
damask roses ( you chose the amount)
walnuts
hot and cold water

📌preparation:
add 1 cup of cold water to a bowl.
Add half of the starch to the bowl.
stir well.
add another 1 cup of cold water.
add the rest of the starch.
stir well then sift it and add it to a pot.
pot the pot over low heat and slowly stir the mixture.
👀remember you have to keep on stirring the whole time that you're preparing the dessert! and the heat should be low!
in another bowl add the damask roses.
add 1 cup of hot water to the roses and let them rest for 10 mins to have a rose extract.
when the starch mixture is thick, add the sugar and keep on stirring.
📌because of the brown sugar its color will change to brown!
after 10mins, remove the roses and add the rose extract to the starch mixture and keep on stirring.
👀you will start to smell roses and it's awesome!
stir slowly till thickens.
add the butter and keep on stirring.
when is thick again, add 1 cup of rose water and again keep on stirring.
-when the mixture is thickened, let it cool and refrigerate it for 2 hours.
👀 some people add gelatin powder to Baslogh mixture, if you want you can try that out, and also if you like the vanilla smell in your Baslogh you can add 1 tsp vanilla powder or extract to it!
after 2 hours, make little balls with the starch mixture and put half of the walnut on top of it.
👀 That's the traditional shape of Baslogh!
soak the balls in coconut powder and enjoy your dessert.
