VW Camper van life in North York moors

We stayed at 2 very different camp sites in the North York Moors national park in our VW California camper van and then attempted the perfect wild camping spot up in the moors.
Wild Slack farm campsite was beautiful, really peaceful surrounded by stunning countryside.
Rosedale abbey caravan park was equally beautiful, set in a small peaceful village with a pub, tea room and a few other shops with a church.
We then headed up in to the moors for an off grid free camp but the weather wasn't favourable so we moved on.
As usual, beer reviews, outdoor cooking and a little review of our new Firemaple stove and frying pan to cook breakfast bacon outside the van is all included in this video.
Jack, our labrador, LOVED the moors! Stayed on his lead due to the number of grouse potentially nesting in the heather but, so many smells to explore and the views just allow you to empty your mind, a real wellbeing area to be.
