Steamtown Museum Tour • Scranton "Electric City" PA

It's been a long time coming but we were finally able to visit Steamtown in Scranton, PA a few weeks ago. My first time in the quaint "Electric City" and certainly an unforgettable one. Steamtown isn't just a (free) museum, it's a US National Park. In this video we tour the museum grounds, the roundabout, roundhouse full of old steam engines and locomotives including giants Reading and Northern 2124 and Union Pacific "Big Boy" 4012. Included as well are tours of mail carrier car and an Erie & Lackawanna Business Car. The rest of the museum offers more of a history of rail in America which is not covered. Note that the Technology Center was closed due to HVAC issues. The trolley museum is separate but located nearby.
