Turlough O´Carolan (1670 - 1738). This rather fascinating title to one of O´Carolan´s melodies, prompted me to try to adapt it for the harp. It reminded me of the paintings of W. Blake. He had the gift of seeing more than meets the eye - the realm around us. When his 20 year old brother, Robert, died in his arms, he was able to see the angels taking his brother´s soul "home". I believe that this melody by O'Carolan brings us exactly the same message.
