MANI PITTU

Ingredients
2 cups all purpose flour steamed
Salt
Hot water

Method

Add salt to the flour. Add hot water not boiling water but close to boiling point and keep mixing it, until it reaches a semi-hard consistency. It should not be too soft or too hard.stuff the dough in the mani pittu maker.

Squeeze on to a plate that has flour on it. After each squeeze, sprinkle a bit of flour so that the strings or noodles of dough do not stick to each other.
Place it in a sieve or any vessel which has holes to remove the excess flour.Transfer the mixture into a steaming pittu maker. Close it and steam for about 5 to 6 minutes.
