Sticky Pork Belly Burnt bits

What is a Pork Belly end bit? A fancy way of say Pork belly cut into cubes and cooked!!! How do you make them sticky? Sticky sauce of course!!! Using the air fryer makes getting the crispy outer nice and easy.

Ingredients

1kg Pork Belly boneless
1 tbsp brown sugar
3 tsp smoked paprika
2 tsp plain flour
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp garlic powder
Olive oil spray

Sticky sauce

50g butter
2 tbsp golden syrup
2 tbsp bbq sauce
1 tbsp bourbon
2 tsp sriracha

Method

1. Cut pork belly into 3cm pieces. Place in a bowl
2. Combine sugar, paprika, flour, onion and garlic in a bowl. Then mix through the pork bits, making sure it is evenly coated. Lay pork bits out on a flat tray and place, uncovered, in the fridge for 2hours to dry out.
3. Remove from fridge and place pork bits into the air fryer basket. Do not overload basket. This could take a few rounds in the air fryer. Cook at 200c for 10min then shake the basket and cook for another 10 minutes, or until the the pork is starting to char up. Transfer into another bowl. Repeat till all pork is cooked.
4. Whilst pork is cooking make up the sticky sauce. Combine sauce ingredients in a small saucepan over a medium heat. Stir until mixture is melted and combined. Simmer for 3-4min or till sauce thickens. Remove from heat.
5. Pour sauce over the pork bits and serve up!!!
