Counting methods and probability | Unit 1 and 2 VCE Maths Methods

Описание к видео Counting methods and probability | Unit 1 and 2 VCE Maths Methods

**CORRECTION: In example 2, I erroneously calculated the total number of marbles as 26, when it should be 16. This means that:
In Q2a, the denominator should be 16C4, which gives a final answer of 3/1820.
In Q2b, the calculation should be 1 - 3/1820 = 1817/1820
*In Q2c, if the errors in parts a and b are corrected, then the final answer here should be 720/1817.
Apologies for any confusion caused!

As we juggle online and face-to-face learning during the COVID-19 pandemic, I will continue to record my lessons here on YouTube.

To finish the year, my Year 11 VCE Mathematical Methods class will look at probability and counting methods.

In this video, we combine our understanding of arrangements and selections, together with our understanding of probability to solve various probability problems.

The class uses the Cambridge Senior Maths textbook for Unit 1 and 2 Mathematical Methods and the TI Nspire CAS CX / CXII calculator.
