Addie and Maddox had never really gotten along. For years had they been in the same community, yet what it felt like being strangers to each other. Mutual misunderstandings, harsh words and avoidance of the other. The constant word battle, and heavy dislike. From him, as he had hated the fact that in some odd different way, she had made him feel. That Addie had witnessed his vulnerability. From her, as she couldn't seem to understand the man and the ways in which he behaved. To her, this man was heartless.
Strive to survival continues. As there comes as much regret as there comes consequences.
