The surprising changes in Scorsese's Killers of the Flower Moon

Did Martin Scorsese drop the ball in his film adaptation of Killers of the Flower Moon?!

In this comparative review, I'm considering both versions of the story, Scorsese's film and David Grann's book, and highlighting some of the areas that I believe make David Grann's version of Killers of the Flower Moon a far more powerful and appropriate telling of the story.
