"You're not weird", she said. "You're just autistic."

This is my experience of discovering that I am autistic. Since childhood, I have always felt different and faced difficulties because of it. Therefore, I distanced myself from my autistic traits and rejected them. However, today, I have embraced and accepted that I am autistic. But before reaching this point, I struggled and never understood why I experienced so much difficulty with sensory input and other challenges. In this video, I share my journey of unmasking my autism and hope to shed some light for others who may also be on the autistic spectrum.

I also talk about surpressing my autistic traits and the pivotal moment when a friend gently suggested that I might be autistic. The revelation was a turning point, leading me to seek an autism diagnosis that changed my life.
