Yuji Nishida (西田 有志, Nishida Yūji, born 30 January 2000) is a Japanese left-handed volleyball player. As of July 2024, Nishida plays for Panasonic Panthers at club level.

Nishida made his debut with JTEKT Stings at V.League on 6 January 2018 in a match against Sakai's Osaka Blazers Sakai. His impressive debut at the young age of 17 soon earned him a position in JTEKT's starting six,[5] as well as on Japan men's national volleyball team. Nishida led the national team to seventh place at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, its best result in 29 years.

The Japan men's national volleyball team (Japanese: 男子バレーボール日本代表) represents Japan in international volleyball competitions and friendly matches, governed by Japan Volleyball Association.

Their nickname is "RYUJIN NIPPON (龍神 NIPPON)", meaning "Japanese Dragon God" or "Dragon God of Japan" in Japanese.

The Brazil men's national volleyball team is governed by the Confederação Brasileira de Voleibol (Brazilian Volleyball Confederation) and takes part in international volleyball competitions. Brazil has won three gold medals at the Olympic Games, has won the World Championship three times, and the World League nine times. Brazil is the national volleyball team that has won the most titles overall, and also the team that has won most titles outside their regional competition. The team is sometimes referred to as volleyball's "Dream Team" specially in reference to its winning streak period under coach Bernardo Rezende. Currently Brazil is ranked seventh on the FIVB World Rankings.
