Our adventure in Pokhara began in the comfort of the premium deluxe room at Hotel Mount Kailash Resort 🏨, a luxurious 4-star retreat in Lakeside. As we settled in, we immersed ourselves in memories by watching old videos of our Muktinath trip on the room’s television 📺. The elegant decor and cozy ambiance made it the perfect place to unwind after a long day of travel. 🌄🌟
Later, we headed to Duna Tapari at Pame for lunch, drawn by the promise of stunning views of Fewa Lake. While the setting was beautiful, the food didn’t quite live up to our expectations. The Newari cuisine, which we were looking forward to, turned out to be below average in taste. With hunger setting in, we made do with what was served. Despite the food, the view of the moon 🌕 rising over the hills and reflecting on the lake provided a serene backdrop that somewhat made up for the disappointing meal.
In the evening, we visited the Pokhara Disneyland Fun Park 🎡, a vibrant spot on the banks of Fewa Lake. Although we didn’t take part in any of the rides or games, we enjoyed walking around and soaking in the lively atmosphere. The park was bustling with people having fun, with a variety of attractions like machine games 🎮, bumper cars 🚗, the Columbus ride 🚢, a Giant wheel 🎠, and a skating rink ⛸️. The night view, illuminated by colorful lights reflecting on the lake, added to the magical ambiance. We strolled through the park, watching others enjoy the rides, before eventually heading back to the peaceful comfort of our hotel room. The mix of relaxation, scenic views, and lively evening vibes made this Pokhara adventure one to remember.
