Former Police Chief Gen. Kale Kayihura summoned by UPDF

The former Inspector General of Police, Gen Kale Kayihura, is a walking a tight rope after he was summoned by the Chief of Defence Forces, Gen David Muhoozi and questioned on issues regarding insecurity.

This comes barely two days after the president called a crisis meeting with all security chiefs at State House Entebbe where he revealed that action will be taken on those who were the masterminds of assassinations of high profile figures in the country.

It is not clear yet whether Kayihura was later this evening allowed to return to his countryside home in Lyantonde district.
