Right Way Fire – Liza's Story

Описание к видео Right Way Fire – Liza's Story

"Really good making fire all around up here" says Luritja Traditional Owner Liza Mulda.

Join Liza as she shares information about her grandfather's country and informs Anangu Luritjiku and Walungurru Ranger teams during a burning trip through the breathtaking Cleland Hills / Muruntji on Haast Bluff Aboriginal Land Trust supported by Central Land Council and the Indigenous Desert Alliance (IDA).

Right way fire is about the right people, in the right place and the right time burning country in a careful and culturally informed way to keep country healthy, protecting plants, animals and special places. The IDA's Right Way Fire program enables Traditional Owners to see, enjoy and access remote desert areas while sharing knowledge and looking after country using the key tool of fire.
