Lake Wenatchee Sockeye 2024 Hobie Pro Angler 14

3 say fishing/camping trip to Lake Wenatchee. Had a great time and got into some fish as well. For the journey these fish make to get to this lake, they cut surprisingly well. With a record sockeye return this year, if you can get up there and have some fun with it. All fish were caught between 60-90 feet. 70 feet at first light seemed best, ignore those masses you see under 70ft, they aren't biters, 90 feet once the sun hit the water. You will know when to drop, the action will suddenly stop. There will still be a lot fish showing in the 50-70ft range, ignore those though, they aren't biting, those few deep will. 9 inch Mack's Lure Sling Blades produced well, with a little extra end in it. Double D Produced as well except one fish took off with my lucky Double D on the 2nd day. Mack's Lure Sockeye Pro's - pink blade with glow beads produced the most fish. Elgin Fishing God's Tooth Spoon with Double1/0 hooks got fish, I messed around with the Daredevil pattern (red spoon with white stripe) as well as just plain old bare red hooks. #hobiefishing #MacksLure #elginfishing #camanomarine
