WEYMOUTH A Great Holiday Destination | Portland | Cruise Ships due to COVID-19 | Traditional Harbour

🟪Weymouth is a popular town for visitors, it includes a wide promenade and pedestrianised streets. We parked at the Swannery, which has toilets and the postcode is DT4 7TY. It has a busy harbour with a thriving fishing industry. ❤🐬

Weymouth also has a traditional fishing harbour, with Pastel coloured houses to one side.

Other things you’ll find in Weymouth are the Sand Sculptures, Nothe Fort, Boat trips to see Dolphins and also currently the Cruise Ships.

Basically WEYMOUTH is a GREAT holiday or day out destination !!!

🟪Portland 😎 – it is worth a drive to the top to get some amazing views of Chesil beach. A UNESCO coastline, with stones of up to 10,000 years old. It is dog friendly all year round 🐕.
Portland is a mix of old and new houses. It has a lighthouse called Portland Bill and also a Castle and a Harbour.

Local Towns
🟪Bridport is another local town with a bustling market each Wednesday and Saturday. 🎁
🟪West Bay is not far down the road from Bridport and shows you a part of the dramatic Jurassic coastline. East beach is dog friendly. We parked at DT6 4EL which included toilets❤.
🟪Lyme Regis a historic seaside resort, is also part of the Jurassic coast and provides some beautiful scenery. We parked near Monmouth beach, where dogs are allowed and there are toilets, the post code was DT7 3LW 😎❤
