Ulanzi MT44 Selfie Stick Tripod from the view of an old-school video professional. Best of the worse

We were out shopping for the most convenient but useable selfie stick shitty tripod for fun and leisure use, and thought that the Ulanzi MT-44 is the best of the worse available.
Its by far one of the longest available, one of the 'sturdiest' available by comparison to the others in the same category, but one of the thickest in diameter and heaviest in weight.
We bought the Smallrig #4192 telescopic selfie stick, but found that the height is insufficient for some applications.
We have looked into the Insta360 invisible stick option as well, but it was way too expensive, so we settled for the Ulanzi MT-44.
We think its the best unit for the price out there at this moment in Aug 2024 unless something new comes up. For compactness and convenience, we'd prefer to bring out the Smallrig #4192 though.
Its a lot smaller and thinner, lesser footprint, and the tripod base can be removed to make it even shorter for compact storage.

And for the record again, we are not paid to promote this.
Just sharing our views on what is available and practical out there for use, in proper context and use-case scenarios. Its simply not practical to bring out one of the smallest Manfrotto Be-Free video tripod out just for a small action camera or mobile phone for quick video capture.
