ORIGINAL 1960 SCHLIEREN Lift near Olten, Switzerland

This lift was situated in a low-rise residential block near Olten, Switzerland. It was the original lift installed upon construction of the block. The block has 4 floors above ground. The lift had no landing door between the floors 1 and 2. The top floor contained the motor room, which basically was a closet in the hallway. Overall a very compact installation.
The relay controller for this lift seems to be a pre-built standard model that can work for up to 8 floors. As a floor selector system bistable rollers were used.
The lift and all identical ones in the other blocks of this group have now been replaced by Schindler 6300s with a slightly larger capacity of 320kg / 4 persons.
