ಮಳೆಗಾಲಕ್ಕೆ ಹೇಳಿ ಮಾಡಿದ ತಿಂಡಿ | Crispy Kaayi vade or akki vade | Akki vade recipe | Kaayi vade

One of the best and simple snack recipe for rainy season, that is coconut vada. It is purely a traditional recipe. Main ingredients are coconut and rice flour, oil required for frying. If we use coconut oil, the taste doubles. If the thickness and consistency of the dough, heat of the oil are perfect, vadas pop up. If we make it too thick, vadas turn out harder.

Ingredients-

Rice flour- 1/2 kgs
coconut 1/2 medium
salt to taste
cumin seeds 2 tsp
oil for frying and greasing plantain leaves
also 1 table spoon of hot oil is added while making dough.
water required to adjust the consistency
