#2024CW22

Hi everyone,

This is my collage for week 22 of the challenge being hosted by Margarete Miller this year ( see below for details, if the #2024CW challenge is new to you and/or if you’re interested in taking part).

The prompts set for this assignment were as follows:

1. ‘A border or a frame’ ~ I chose one of the Tim Holtz Idea-ology window
frames, a round one.

2. ‘Something found in a library’ ~ An obvious choice was to use a
vintage library cabinet card... so I did.

3. ‘A bug or insect’ ~ A fussy cut black & white bee plus a gorgeous
specimen style tag that was gifted to me several years ago by my
lovely friend Joy ( thanks again Joy 😁) were my choices for this
prompt

4. ‘A piece of newspaper’ ~ I really hate how the ink from newspaper print
gets all over your hands regardless of how careful you are... yuck! So I
chose a cleaner option, a brown paper bag printed with a newsprint
design. Close enough I thought.

5. ‘Stitching real, drawn or stamped’ ~ I did some random hand stitching
with DMC stranded cotton.


Bonus ‘Paint splatters’ ~ Random splatters using both white and gold Posca pens did the trick.
