The Berowra to Mount Kuring-Gai hiking trail is a beautiful walk through Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park just 1 hour by car north of Sydney CBD (City Centre). It is also easy to get to by public transport as the trail connects two stations on the Sydney rail network - Berowra Station and Mount Kuring-gai station. It boasts excellent views of Cowan Creek most of the way and you can sometimes spot birds such as Rainbow Lorikeets, Red-tailed Black Cockatoos, and White-faced Herons.

The start and end of the hiking trail are the steepest sections - doable but a good workout! If you’re visiting Sydney and have some hiking experience, check this trail out!
