Bear with me please, this is one of the very first videos. I did back in July 2021. Never knew at the time that I would be putting it up on YouTube. So I'm still learning.

Estetica Mellow in SilverSun RT8 Gets a little lift on the top and the left, and a change in her part. She is a regular synthetic wig, NOT heat friendly!

I loved the curl pattern on the right side of Mellow but the left side just seemed flat and limp to me, and it didn't look balanced.
So I sprayed her damp first with a mixture of 8oz water & a nickle size of Belle Madame' balsam. (by the way, I no longer do that anymore 3 years later.) you can either use this mixture or straight water if you're nervous about putting heat tools on your regular synthetic wigs. And always test your tools on an inconspicuous area! As not all tools are created equal, even if they have the same temperature reading! And the reason I no longer do this practice with the water, is because I'm too impatient to wait for a section to dry before I go on and work on the next section.

The curling iron I used in this video is by Abody. And this was a 1 inch size. My temperature setting was 190°.

I only did this to her one time (July 17,2021) and she has held that curl & lift for three years.

The reason the color looks different, is because the previous pictures were taken indoors, and the recent pictures were outdoors.

Kathleen Ryan is using and loving this curling iron that has similar qualities to my Abody:
