Visit to the Roman Catholic Cemetery 11/23/2020

President Rodrigo Roa Duterte visited the mausoleum of his parents at the Roman Catholic Cemetery in Davao City.

The President offered flowers and observed a solemn moment to commemorate the 109th birthday of his father, the late Vicente Gonzales Duterte.

Born on 23 November 1911 in Danao, Cebu, Vicente Gonzales Duterte was a lawyer who served as mayor of his hometown and eventually became governor of the then-unified province of Davao. He died on February 21, 1968.

Senator Christopher Lawrence ‘Bong’ Go accompanied President Duterte in the cemetery visit.
