I expected Carapace to be easier than Vexiona, but I was wrong.
I had to go full dps, which means only single target and no AoE. Which is annoying for phase 2.

In phase 1, my objective was a clean transition - when there are no tentacles, but before he casts a bomb.
You want to do the transition as fast as possible. Remember, to not be slowed you need to enter the slowing AoEs, use disengage to break the root and then not leave the zone. However, yo uwill take a lot of damage.

First, do the right side as fast as possible, then use turtle - you need the CD reduction talent by the way - grab orbs to get to 100% and get to the next side.
For the left side, you want to go fast and grab all orbs. You absolutely need 100 sanity for phase 3.
Although, there is a trick where you don't kill the small adds, and break their shield in phase 3 to recover sanity. But it's hard not to cleave them down, so you would lose some damage on the boss.

For phase 3, if done perfectly, you want to stay above 0 sanity until the mind decay after the 3rd darkness. This requires grabbing every single orb.
During the corridor, feign death for a second your pet so you get aggro.
Drag the boss to a side. Once he does his darkness, go to the other side and FD. You then want to enter the AoE whenever you have the membrane, so you spawn the orb.
Use turtle on the second darkness, and block a mind decay too.
I used hero once i had gotten the last two orbs.
