Formula F Race | 2022 SCCA National Championship Runoffs | Virginia International Raceway

When the SCCA National Championship Runoffs was held at VIRginia International Raceway in 2019, Formula F racers experienced dramatic rain – fast forward to the Sept. 30, 2022, SCCA Runoffs Formula F race at VIR, and the conditions were eerily similar. This time around, Jonathan Kotyk was starting on the Tire Rack Pole instead of second – but also this year, three-time FF National Champion Tim Kautz was sitting to his side. Between Kautz, Theodore Burns, Nolan Allaer, and more – plus pelting rain from a hurricane – the 2022 FF Runoffs race was anything but a foregone conclusion.
